yes and no. Windows XP 64 is the next comming release of Windows, but it's really more of a revision. I'm not too sure of your computer-literacy level so I shall try not to bomb you with techy information... All pentium 4 processors, and most newer AMD processors are 32 bit, the Windows XP that is out now is designed to run with a 32bit processor... however, newer AMD processors are using 64 bits instead of 32. This means they are more powerful. People like me who are using 64 bit processors can't take 100% of them yet b/c of Windows XP limitations. There is currently a 1 year free-trial for XP64 that you can download.
As for Longhorn.... Last I heard was that it's public release will be in 2007... the same year IBM is planning on turning to Linux and being 100% Windows free. The concept of Longhorn is supposedly going to replace the iconized-desktop as you know it... I really can't say a lot about it though because I've not really seen anything Longhorn yet. Sorry, but 2007 is suggesting that it may be strenuous on the computers of today... I really can't say anyting though.
Cool Ill get a AMD 64 athlon 3200 soon... gotta love these processors. do you know where I can download the xp 64?? and what program do you use to take screenshots?? the one I use doesn't capture videos.
